I love mine.

The 15-91 was mass produced and sizes had to be standardized for the many cases and tables that were made for them. I've got the size for the 15-91.

The hardware allows the machine to be tilted back to facilitate oiling under the bed of the machine. In a larger case or table, this is an advantage, however in a small display base (which I use for day to day sewing, tilting the machine back would tip the base over as well. For this reason, I didn't include the hardware in this design and it makes the base a little sleeker.

I can make one with the pictured stain or, as an option, I like the ebonized (black stain) finish. You can see the one I made for myself in the background of the photos in this post. The price is $90 plus shipping.

Let me know and thanks again for your comment.

MichaelMichael De Lucahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13906839149661741924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4577838636567859144.post-14864310243622318802014-01-24T16:30:39.518-05:002014-01-24T16:30:39.518-05:00Hi there! That stain looks terrific with the machine.

I bought my Centenial 15-91 a couple of days ago; it should arrive next week. Shall I wait and measure it when it arrives, or are you confident that all 15-91s are the same size?

I've noticed that some other bases (on eBay) have hardware attached to hold the machine down. Do you think this is necessary?

I'm redcaps123 on eBay, btw.
